Welcome to the home page of the Tuesday Music Club of Lakeland
As an affiliate member of the National Federation of Music Clubs, the Tuesday Music Club has been a vital member of the arts community of Polk County since its founding in 1920. For 88 years the Programs Committee has presented informative and innovative musical performances for the community, sponsored the work of other arts organizations in Lakeland, and has awarded thousands of dollars in scholarships for Polk County students who have committed to pursuing music at the college level.
The Tuesday Music Club is proud to be involved with many artistic organizations in Polk County. We are a member of the Cultural Arts Board of Polk County and the Polk Alliance. We also support the Imperial Symphony Orchestra and the music programs of local public schools and area colleges.
The Tuesday Music Club is also excited to support the inaugural season of the Opera Theater of Lakeland, the resident opera company of the Historic Polk Theater.
